Mick led a ride-out of 6 bikes to The Kings Head at Sutton Bonington where we met up with several other branch members for a good display of bikes for the locals.

Giles led a ride-out from the Shakespeare via Castle Donnington through the lanes and by-roads to the Hawk and Buckle at Etwall. There Rachel studied the bikes and awarded the Richard Green Memorial trophy to Mick Debbage's A65 Lightning.

Tidy Bike Night saw a fine display of handsome BSAs at the Shakespeare. When the votes were counted the club members had chosen (but the photographer had missed):

Our thanks to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance for a very interesting and informative talk about the lifesaving emergency service they provide. On the night, thanks to the generosity of the branch members plus £50 from branch funds, we contributed £230 to the charity which was gratefully received.


AGM 2025 Outcomes

1)Branch Attendance Subscription to remain at £1 or £2 for any Special Events like Guest speakers.

2)Existing Committee Members re-elected except for the Webmaster who is replaced with Clive Osman.

3)Branch to investigate Alternative Venues. The existing venue arrangements will continue.
